Job description

The Assistant Chief Engineer is responsible for the management of programs, including: program technical management, responsibility of e-PT Architecture Integration, suppliers selection supporting, change management, supporting manufacturing for new projects. 


Main activities 

  • Responsible for the electrification portion of the propulsion system technology and sub-system technical specification
  • Responsible for function, timing, cost and quality to ensure the project in scope 
  • Identify requirements and collect cross-functional department information/data/facts to make sound technical decisions in the appropriate forum to meet functional objectives within the program scope
  • Communicate key technical decisions and issues to chief engineer
  • Lead the technical reviews/evaluations and technical specification sign-offs
  • Confirm components and system designs and verification/validation testing are completed with efficient use of resources to reduce lead time and development costs
  • Ensure accurate metrics for quality are established and tracked throughout the development process
  • Work with manufacturing engineers to establish requirements in order to manufacture and assemble Technology System without defect
  • Support development timing and costs in response to requests for product change



  • Master's Degree in Engineering or comparable course of study
  • Strong background in electrified powertrain system design and development, at tier-1 or OEM level
  • Minimum 5 years in Hybrid/Electrical system development
  • Experience in supervising/coordinating resources
  • Teamworking and communication skills
  • Proficiency in English
